by gypsyvine ini'm not really sure where to post this.. i've been with my boyfriend for 4 months now and i've really never been happier.
i was brought up in the church of christ with an elder father and i really believe in my religion, although i will admit to being a lousy christian at times due to sheer laziness (not wanting to get out of bed on sunday).
my boyfriend essentially lives with me.

Have never supported it; Do not think ever will, although my taxes are used towards it.
US military has done such criminal harm in the Middle East that I cannot bring myself to ever be interested.
Poor members believe they are agents of good. In reality, nothing more than sacrificial lambs to the God of greed and war.
For sure my deep JW indoctrination plays a part in my feelings about all things.

Is one of my many complaints to a God creator. How dare you create or allow the existence of certain types and then require them to act against nature? How dare you, you unjust evil jerk?!!!

basically, preaching by the jw's is to make converts.
this in itself implies that jehovah's witnesses believe that they alone have the only acceptable way to god and that everyone else is just not worthy.

I really tried in one occasion to make non-JW friends but it did not workout. I am a bit of a prude, you see, due to the indoctrination, so when non-JW behavior kicked in on certain joyous times, it just did not agree with my taste.
Seems like in most of the non-JW world, things like fowl language, smoking, recreational drug use, sexual loose conduct and innuendos, yelling, mock wrestling matches, gambling, excessive drinking, etc., are all viewed as okay.
NO! It is not okay with me. Actually, is very uncomfortable.
This coming Sunday we will hang at somebody's house, drop a buck in a jar for the team we support; some will even show up with the colors of their preferred team, have lots of good food, a drink or two and really enjoy a good game. Go Broncos!!! It will be loads of fun!!! 😜
The 'boring', as considered by most, JW way is just fine by me.
